Playlist Exchange

Playlist is a semi-flash exchange that will run through the month of August for fic and art. Matching is on fandom, relationship, and work type. Freeform tags will be used to request songs that will be used as prompts.

The minimum is 300 words or a clean sketch on unlined paper.

There will be a post here where you can request recs for music to fit a character or theme. Music can be chosen by lyrics, sound, general vibe, music video, just whatever makes you think it's a good fit for the request.

Nominations open: Sunday, August 1st
Sign ups open: Thursday, August 5th. Nominations will remain open through sign ups.
Sign ups close: Thursday, August 12th
Assignments out by: Friday, August 13th
Works due: Friday, August 27th
Works revealed: Tuesday, August 31st
Authors revealed: Sunday, September 5th

Nominations:
Please disambiguate your nominations. Use "/" for romantic relationships and "&" for platonic relationships. You can mix the two. Original characters may be nominated under fandoms if they are nominated with an existing character but not as solo characters. Solo characters can be nominated as "Solo: Character"

For music, please nominate it with the song name first, followed by the artist's name. If the song is from a musical, you may use the name of the musical in place of the artist. In order to not mess things up for ao3, please start all tags with "Based on"

Requests: To be guaranteed a gift, you must request at least three fandoms. You may request less than three, but if you do I won't hold reveals to wait on a gift for you. You can add additional requests at any time.

Each request will need to have at least three song options since matching doesn't take freeforms into consideration. This way your assigned creator has some options.

Offers You must be matchable. If you're matchable with only one offer that's fine.

Don't create something your recipient lists as a DNW.
